The Hon. Dy. Chief Minister of the State of Goa Shri Francis D’Souza, also the Town & Country Planning & Urban Development Minister, was the chief guest for the felicitation function of Dr S.T.Puttaraju, Chief Town Planner of the Town & Country Planning Department organised by CREDAI-GOA ie the Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Association India- the Chapter of Goa, onNovember 28, 2014, at Vivanta By Taj, Panaji-Goa
The President of CREDAI-GOA, Dr Jagannath (Desh) Prabhudessai said that CREDAI-GOA is the apex body for private Real Estate developers in Goa.
He said that CREDAI-GOA spells assurance and clarity,is making rapid & sustained Progress. It represents the predominant interests of Real Estate Developers of Goa. Its numerous initiatives and activities help developers come together and work towards better practices, improved customer service and a stronger realty industry.
He said CREDAI-GOA the Builder fraternity who lead Housing Industry contribute immensely to the economy in generation of income through taxes levied particularly Infrastructure Tax and employment to a large number of people.
The Main issues elaborated with requests by the President were on Infrastructure Tax, request for Simplifying the Mutation Procedure, Renewal of Sanad, and other issues. An early redress to the mentioned problems & issues was requested.
Hon. Dy. Chief Minister in his address said that he has been recently assigned the post of the Minister for Town & Country Planning. He said he needs time to study the matter and he and the government will surely look into the genuine concerns expressed and will support the Housing Industry which is a major industry in terms of economic generation and employment.
Dr Desh thanked the Hon. Dy Chief Minister, Shri Francis D’Souza, for his address that was positive, energising and full of motivation for the Members of CREDAI-GOA .
Dr Desh thanked Dr S.T.Puttaraju for enlighting the Members on his thesis.
The Annual General Meeting of CREDAI Goa was also conducted. Members in large numbers attended the function.
